Home Depot is an American multinational home improvement retail corporation that sells tools, building products, equipment and services, including fuel and transportation rentals. It is the largest home improvement retailer in the United States. Home Depot was founded in 1978 by Arthur Blank, Ken Langone, Bernard Marks, Pat Farah and Ron Burrell. The company's first store opened in Atlanta, Georgia on June 22, 1979. By 2023, Home Depot will operate more than 2,300 stores branches in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
